QT Canberra

Staff was very friendly and helpful about giving directions to restaurants and the lake for the drone show.

It's a very funky hotel, with its own distinctive style to the decor, artworks, etc. That's the first thing you'll notice, but looking past that, it has everything you would expect from a city hotel, and all very well executed. Room was comfortable, clean, had every fitting you would expect. Didn't eat at the hotel restaurant this stay, but have in the past, and it was excellent. Hotel bar has a great cocktail list and friendly bartender.

In town for one night for the Giants vs Kangaroos AFL game at Manuka. Perfectly located within a funky, arty precinct, the QT blends in with comfy, large rooms and a fun take on political portraits. In the bar area, the wallpaper alone deserves close inspection. The staff were attentive and friendly across all interactions. Being a Sunday evening, the restaurant was closed but the bar snacks were excellent, with enough choice to stay planted there. It’s a lovely hotel, clean and quiet with panache and sense of humour in its design. Will be our port of call again next time we visit.

Room was spacious and in good order; comfy beds and a great Nespresso type coffee machine. Breakfast included in the price was great too - such a money saver when travelling. Easy parking. Outdoor sunny area for casual lunch or drink. Lovely bar area. Great vibe.

The atmosphere of the hotel is right up my alley - the vibe, the decor, the food, the comfy beds and the staff are brilliant and so accommodating with requests and making guests feel special - I’m a Canberra local and chose the QT for a much needed staycation and they delivered in every way I had hoped for and more! It’s not my first visit and will definitely not be my last. Thank you SO much QT Canberra!
